Carla Rodriguez was one of the most well-renowned explorers on the Islands. She cleared the way for many of the regions on the islands to be settled.

Determined to find an inhabitable area of Mount Dickrot, she set off into its irradiated surroundings.

​

Days later, a melted corpse was found being fed on by giant, cat-sized rats.

​

The inhabitants of the surrounding area found Carla's pendant on the corpse, and buried it on the hill that would be known as Carla's Rest. They held off on naming it something stupid (like most of the surrounding areas) out of respect.
